ETA 1093 Movement – Elca Bimatic Incabloc 17J Swiss Watch Date Spares/Repairs

Vintage Elca Bimatic Swiss Made wristwatch fitted with an ETA cal. 1093 17-jewel manual wind movement with Incabloc shock protection. The movement is tested running when fully wound and ran throughout inspection. (+70 seconds) over 24 hours which is good time keeping for a vintage watch. No guarantees of accuracy after the 24 hour testing phase. The crown functions correctly and the hands set smoothly. The date advances after a 24 hour cycle but appears to change early, so adjustment may be needed. The case back is stamped 03248 3. The case width excluding the crown is approximately 36.3mm. The lug width is approximately 19mm. The plexi crystal is cracked, scratched, and no longer stays securely in place. It has likely shrunk with age and will require replacement. The bracelet is a vintage stretch type and is damaged. The dial and hands show age consistent with a vintage watch. This is being sold as spares or repairs. The primary value is in the ETA 1093 movement, but the watch is complete and may suit restoration.
